Located in Poughkeepsie, NY Pay: $21-$24 an hour Shift: 7am-4pm Monday-Friday **Job Description** Join our team as an Assembly Technician, where you will utilize your technical skills in a dynamic manufacturing environment. With a strong focus on electrical and mechanical operations, you will play an integral role in assembling and troubleshooting various components and machinery. **Responsibilities** + Attend and participate in daily lean meetings to support continuous improvement initiatives. + Assemble sub-assemblies and machines by following Quality Control assembly checklists. + Ensure proper component placement with appropriate sealant and torque as required. + Operate forklifts, hoists, and lift tables after completing necessary training. + Adhere to all Personal Protection Procedures and Requirements. + Comply with OSHA regulations and perform duties as assigned by management. **Essential Skills** + Trade school experience, with a strong preference for technical school education. + Proficiency in electrical and mechanical skills, including pneumatics and hydraulics. + Experience in troubleshooting, assembly, and repairs. + Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics. + Familiarity with standard shop tools, both hand and electric. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Understanding of electrical fundamentals and the ability to comprehend circuits and components. + Moderate computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office products. + Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
