The Clinical Assistant Supervisor is responsible to manage, provide guidance and direct the daily workflow of the Postdoctoral Periodontology clinical dental assistant staff. The Supervisor must be able to effectively mentor and develop the staff, provide training and support a team centered environment as well as suggest and implement changes necessary with the goal of providing a consistent level of care and services to our patients. The Supervisor works closely with the Treatment Center Manager to assure adequate staffing, approve requests for time off, create schedules, manage pre-doctoral assisting schedules and address disciplinary issues. The Supervisor is responsible for assuring the inventory of department instruments and machines is complete and all are in good working order. Also, coordinate all cases in the Implant clinic with the Manager and Implant coordinator to maintain a surplus inventory and assuring necessary documents are signed and components are received.
Bachelor's Degree required and 3-5 years of experience.
