AT LEAST 2 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE OF DRIVING BOX TRUCK FOR A WAREHOUSE.

Connect staffing is looking for an experienced Box Truck Driver to join a leading Shutters and blinds manufacturing company in the Lewisville and Dallas area.

Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Box Truck Driver Requirements:

• Ability to pass and background and a drug screen.
• 2 year of experience of driving Cargo Vans for a warehouse.
• Proficient in maneuvering large vehicles in tight spaces, such as loading docks or congested city streets.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Bi-lingual required: English/Spanish.
• Manufacturing experience is a plus.

Box Truck Driver Responsibilities:

• Drive a box truck owned by company and transport goods and materials to designated locations in a timely manner.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its safety and proper functioning.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules.
• Follow instructions, safety policy, and traffic rules and deliver our products to the designated addresses safely.
• Operate a liftgate to load/unload boxes from a box truck.
• Report any exceptions, vehicle issues, injuries, customer complaints to worksite supervisor in a proactive and timely manner.
• Help unload containers and move, lift, push boxes weighing 50lbs on average constantly in the warehouse when there is no delivery assigned.
