In this fully remote role, you'll support Maryland's Health Benefits Exchange, helping individuals and families enroll in affordable health coverage.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday
⏰ 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM EST
What You'll Do:
Handle a high volume of inbound calls, assisting residents with healthcare enrollment and inquiries.
Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and resolving issues professionally.
Accurately document interactions and track common concerns using a computerized system.
Assist prospective enrollees and those supporting them in navigating healthcare options.
Communicate clear and accurate information to both internal and external contacts.
Respond to customer inquiries via email when needed.
Meet and exceed key performance metrics, including call handling time, resolution rate, and customer satisfaction scores.
What We're Looking For:
✔ Maryland Resident: Must currently reside in Maryland.
✔ Call Center Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a high-volume, inbound call center environment.
✔ Customer Service Skills: You have strong communication skills and a passion for helping others.
✔ Metrics-Driven Mindset: You have a proven track record of success in meeting performance goals, including Average Handle Time (AHT), First Call Resolution (FCR), and customer satisfaction.
✔ Quality Assurance: Experience maintaining high-quality standards in call evaluations or audits.
✔ Tech-Savvy: Comfortable navigating multiple computer systems and troubleshooting minor technical issues.
✔ Adaptability: Ability to multitask, stay organized, and remain professional in a fast-paced environment.

Technical Requirements:
To ensure a smooth remote work experience, candidates must provide their own equipment that meets the following specifications:
Desktop or laptop (Chromebooks are not supported).
Dual monitors (preferred).
Wired headset with a microphone (USB Gen 2 or newer connection).
Reliable wired internet connection with a minimum speed of 20 Mbps download / 5 Mbps upload.
