HVAC Project Manager position with a large mechanical and plumbing construction company
We are a large growing mechanical contractor that works on many large mechanical hvac and plumbing projects. This is a full-time position with great benefits, retirement package, and plenty of room for career growth.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to commute to different jobsites.
- Meet and mentor all project engineers and field manpower.
- Build and maintain a strong relationship with GC’s and Owners.
- Gather best pricing and on-time delivery of materials from vendors.
- Manage, approve, organize, and document: plans and specifications, schedule, equipment, progress billing, budget/cash flow, submittals, RFI’s, inspection records, permits, material purchases, change orders, cost engineering, labor and production tracking.
- Business development with existing and prospect general contractors and owners, as well as other sub-contractors and design engineers.
Requirements:
- Local
- Stable work-history.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or construction.
- 3+ years of experience on large HVAC commercial projects ranging from 50k to $30M.
- Strong software knowledge in BlueBeam, MS Project, Microsoft Office, Timberline, AutoCAD, Quickpen/Accubid, or similar modeling and scheduling software are a plus.
- Knowledge in State building and HVAC codes, ASHRAE, LEED, among others are a plus.
