Job Description

Troy Regional Medical Center offers a great opportunity for a PRN Medical Office Assistant. This position is based in Troy, AL, but it also provides the chance to work as a float in other clinics , which adds variety to the role.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting Family Medicine practices
• Triage of patients
• Collecting and maintaining information in the EMR (Electronic Medical Record) system
• Assisting the medical provider with patient care
• Possibly handling front office duties such as appointment scheduling

Preferred skills include:

• Experience with Athena or MedConnect EMR systems
• Strong multitasking abilities
• Professional demeanor and excellent customer service
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
