Job Title : Mid-Level Network Support Specialist

Location : Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot local and wide area networks (LAN/WAN), switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless systems.
• Provide Tier 2 support to end users for network-related issues including connectivity, VPN, VoIP, and security concerns.
• Assist with network hardware and software installations, configurations, and upgrades.
• Work with senior network engineers to implement and manage network infrastructure projects.
• Maintain network documentation, inventory, diagrams, and support logs.
• Ensure network security through firewall policies, antivirus, and system patching.
• Perform regular network health checks and participate in disaster recovery planning.
• Escalate unresolved issues and coordinate with vendors when required.

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience in network support or systems administration.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs, and subnetting.
• Experience with Cisco, Juniper, or other enterprise-grade network equipment.
• Experience in Windows Server, Active Directory, and network monitoring tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Federal Experience is a plus.
