Job Overview:

The IV Pharmacy Technician assists in the provision of pharmaceutical services under the supervision of a registered Pharmacist by performing the technical, clerical and manipulative tasks involving mixing sterile products in a clean room environment, dispensing, preparing, and distributing all medications and pharmaceutical products for all patient age groups (including geriatrics, adult, adolescent, pediatric and neonatal). They will be comfortable working in a fast-paced pharmacy environment with strong multitasking skills. Work and/or performance shall conform to written established policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Preferred:

• IV Certified pharmacy technician preferred.
• One year of IV pharmacy experience preferred.

Certifications and Licenses Required:

• New Jersey Pharmacy Technician Registration or obtained within six months of start date as a Pharmacy Technician.

Scheduling Requirements:

• Per Diem
• Days
• Availability to work on weekends and/or weekdays.
