Job Title: Project Manager 3

Job Location: Lansing, MI (Hybrid)
Job Type: Contract

Job Description:

• The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a basic understanding of IT infrastructure and how the IT components interact via network communications. (Firewall, VIP, F5 Listener, Port, etc.)
• Possess a basic understanding of IT infrastructure components, including networks, servers, storage, web and virtual/cloud environments.
• This position provides oversight, leadership, accountability, and project management functions for one or more large-size, complex projects.
• These projects typically utilize vendor participation and require complex schedules and integration with other systems.
• Large-sized projects typically have durations longer than 6 months with 20 or more team members, require communication at the Agency Leadership level and have a medium to high risk.

Requirement:

• 5+ Years of Project Management experience
• Strong leadership skills and a basic understanding of IT infrastructure and how the IT components interact via network communications (Firewall, VIP, F5 Listener, Port, etc.)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Possession of a Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is highly desired.
