What We're Looking for

Seeking Alpha is searching for an experienced and passionate Social Media Marketing Manager with a deep interest in investing. In this role, you’ll shape the strategy and manage content and community engagement across all of our organic social media channels, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, Reddit, and more. This is an exciting opportunity to elevate Seeking Alpha’s presence and grow our audience in the investing community.

The applicable salary range for this position is $90,000/yr to $130,000/yr which depends on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs, and market demand

What You'll Do:
  • Strategic Leadership: Define and implement a cross-channel content and community strategy that aligns with Seeking Alpha’s voice and brand. Collaborate with internal teams and agency partners to develop innovative approaches for reaching and engaging both existing and new target audiences.
  • Content Creation & Execution: Lead the creation of compelling, audience-centric content for various social platforms, ensuring consistency with brand messaging and strategic goals. Partner with both internal content teams and external platform partners to maximize reach and engagement.
  • Performance & Analytics: Own and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of social strategies. Work closely with the Business Intelligence (BI) team to analyze engagement metrics, reach, impressions, follower growth, content click-through rates (CTR), conversion rates, and sentiment analysis.
  • Industry Expertise: Stay up-to-date on social media trends, emerging platforms, and best practices. Provide thought leadership on how these trends can be leveraged to enhance Seeking Alpha’s social presence and align with the needs of our audience.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams, including content, marketing, and product teams, to create integrated and effective social media campaigns that amplify our messaging and drive results.
  • Experimentation & Innovation: Lead social media experiments, testing new platforms, video formats, and collaboration opportunities with third-party creators and influencers to keep our social strategy fresh and engaging.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Native English Speaker: Excellent communication skills are a must.
  • Experience: 4-5+ years of proven success in growing and managing social media accounts, preferably in the finance or investing sectors.
  • Passion for Investing: You have a genuine interest in the investing world and understand its unique audience.
  • Social Media Expertise: Deep knowledge of all major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, LinkedIn, Reddit, etc.), with an ability to navigate their distinct features and optimize content for each.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong data-driven mindset, able to interpret social media metrics and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Collaborative Spirit: You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and are comfortable leading cross-functional initiatives.
  • Self-Starter: Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of driving projects from concept to completion with minimal supervision.
