Job Description

Position- Sterile Processing Technician

Location- Pittsfield, MA 01201

Shift- Days, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Assignment Length- 13 weeks

Guaranteed Hours- 40 hours/week

Pay- Hourly: $34/Hr

Gross Weekly: $1500/Week

Requirements:

• BLS (AHA) - REQUIRED
• Must be HSPA certified - REQUIRED
• 2 years of recent SPT experience - REQUIRED
• Must hold certification for at least 2 years to apply- REQUIRED
• ENDO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• Previous travel experience preferred
• Traveler must have their own vehicle
• Certificates: CBSPD and HSPA (IAHCSMM)

Responsibilities

• Prepares and distributes operating room and module order requests in accordance with priority identification, providing excellent customer service for problem resolution.
• Observed and identified equipment discrepancies, completed minor repairs, submitted work requests, and maintained equipment records.
• Assembled, documented, accounted for, and packaged all instrumentation and sets according to individual department protocols.
• Maintained a clean and safe environment while observing all personal protective equipment standards, standard precautions, and infection control practices.
