Electronics Security Audio/Visual Technician
Columbia, Maryland Position Summary: SCD Information Technology LLC is seeking candidates for the position of
Electronic Security Audio/Visual Technician . This position installs, maintains, and repairs a variety of electronic systems, including security and audio-visual equipment. This role combines technical expertise in both security and AV systems, requiring skills in installation, troubleshooting, and system integration. Key responsibilities include installing security cameras, access control systems, and alarm systems, alongside setting up and maintaining projectors, displays, sound systems, and other AV components.
Responsibilities: • Installing and configuring various electronic security systems such as CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
• Installing, configuring, and testing audio-visual equipment like projectors, screens, speakers, and control systems.
• Running and terminating cables for both security and AV systems, ensuring proper connections and organization.
• Diagnosing and resolving issues with electronic security and AV equipment, performing necessary repairs or coordinating with vendors.
• Integrating different security and AV systems to work together seamlessly, such as connecting cameras to a monitoring system or integrating audio with video displays.
• Performing routine maintenance on equipment, providing technical support to users, and ensuring optimal system performance.
• Keeping detailed records of installations, maintenance activities, and troubleshooting steps.
